Editors from the Publications Division of NACE International will host a session on Wednesday morning, March 29, to help explain the steps to become an author for NACE magazines, the journal, and books and compilations. The “How to Be an Author” presentation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Corrosive Chronicles Green Theater, booth 2011 in the Exhibit Hall.
Topics will include how to become an author for NACE-published books and compilations, CORROSION journal—the technical research journal devoted to furthering the knowledge of corrosion science and engineering, and Materials Performance (MP) magazine—the NACE membership magazine that features articles concerning practical, field-oriented applications of technology. Information will also be provided on how to submit article leads to CoatingsPro Magazine.
Publications staff will share online resources for information on preparing and submitting manuscripts and proposals, as well as editorial calendars for the magazines. Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions and follow up with staff and technical editors on specific inquiries as they work to become or continue as authors for NACE.
