Runners Hit the Trail in Sunday’s NACE Race to Support STEM

On Sunday, a record-breaking number of runners, 84 attendees and guests, joined the NACE Foundation for the 22nd annual NACE Race to kick off CORROSION 2017.  Runners of all ages participated in the 5K run/walk event at New Orleans’s beautiful Crescent Park, an urban park that featured a linear path running along native landscape, views of the Mississippi River, and the appropriately “rusted” steel Piety Street Bridge. Proceeds from the race benefit the NACE Foundation’s programs and support its mission to inspire the future workforce to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Thank you to all our sponsors and participants, and a big congratulations to all of our winners!
