The Student Poster Session Call for Abstracts for CORROSION 2018 is now open! NACE International is looking for individuals with great corrosion ideas that they want to share with the community. The NACE International Research Committee is awarding $9,000 in total prize money to the Student Poster Session winners at CORROSION 2018. Prizes are awarded in three categories—the Mars Fontana Prize for the best posters in Corrosion Engineering, the Marcel Pourbaix Prize for the best posters in Corrosion Science, and the Harvey Herro Prize for the best posters in Applied Corrosion Technology. Prize awards are $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $500 for third place in each category. A prize will also be awarded for the best undergraduate poster.
The Student Poster Session at CORROSION encourages students to become active in NACE and present the results of their work to the membership. Each student who wishes to participate must submit a 300-400 word abstract (maximum of 10,000 characters) by Friday, December 22, 2017. Please keep in mind that student attendance is required at the conference to participate. There can also only be one student per poster.
